A lovely garden slightly on the smaller side. Expect to spend 1-2 hours. There are basic food and toilet facilities.
The staff were kind and friendly. We were a bit unlucky with the weather but enjoyed the walk regardless. Entry free is £11 per person with a gift aid donation. Seems a little on the high side given the size of the grounds.
The paths are all rocks and grass. Some areas are quite steep and uneven. The location isn't really suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Quite a few paths were closed during our visit but that may be due to the season.

I really liked High Beeches for a number of reasons. It is an independent gardens and not a slick commercialised attraction. The gardens themselves are stunning and very natural, the paths are grass with some that are gravel and I didn't realise it was so hilly. Make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear. I intend to return next spring.

Lovely gardens to stroll around. V quiet and peaceful place takes about 1 and a half hours to go round so not huge. Nothing for children there though. You can buy cake and drinks at the entrance and you get a map to find your way about. Hardly anyone there today so easy to sit and listen to the wildlife. Lots of parking there too

Loved this park and woodland looking out towards the south downs. Tea, coffee and cake are available at the entrance lodge with lovely picnic tables.. Small lakes and streams. Must be amazing in the rhododendron Azalea and Magnolia seasons too. The variety of trees suggests Autumn would also be a great time to visit . Its quiet and has lots of seats so one can sit and contemplate how wonderful it all is! Open in the afternoons only...

Beautiful autumnal walk here, hilly though and you need good waterproof shoes on! Beautiful trees and shrubs, and water gardens. Nice lemon drizzle cake and tea afterwards...these gardens are only open certain times and close 31st October so check website before going!

Loved the garden, very beautiful and some gorgeous autumn colours. The grassy paths are lovely to wander along and enjoy the peace and tranquility and you can also take in the views across the Sussex Weald. Finished off my visit with a delicious cup of tea!

Stunning, tranquil, a gem of a place. The rhododendrons and azaleas are completely amazing and the fragrance as you walk around is divine. I've driven past a few times but so glad I visited this time. I shall return again for sure.

Visiting High Beeches was a really lovely day out. It's very pretty, and in someplaces very quite and secluded, so it can be a lovely place to go and quietly enjoy nature.
The map of the area provided is spot on and very easy to follow.
There are several benches scattered over the area for those with limited mobility to rest, or just for those who want to sit and enjoy their surroundings.
There is a small area of picnic benches available for those wishing to take their own refreshments.
After walking around the gardens, you can access the café. There is a short walk to the café, but there is also the option to drive there and park outside for those with a blue disabled badge.
The café is a lovely quaint place, with both inside and outside seating in the garden. The outdoor seating can be in the open air or under their shelter. In the sunshine this is a lovely place to catch up with friends.
The Strawberry sundaes available there are divine.
Overall, the whole place is very pretty & picturesque, and I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful and very colourful. Well worth visiting. Located on hillside and fairly steep tracks, not paved or gravel, so good non slip footwear is advisable.
